bio freeze or icy hot ?
Anyone know if information technology's ok to utilise biofreeze or icy hot for lower back hurting while meaning ? I'll be 37 weeks in wednesday if that makes whatsoever different

Biofreeze is fine and I would recommend that over icy hot..

All I got right at present is bio freeze which I bought while at the chiropractors terminal year later on injuring my lower back at work.. And now it's pain over again and I really like the bio freeze.. I'd employ a heating pad only I ever fall asleep on them

My doctor said either is fine for dorsum or any kind of pain.
Definitely biofreeze and get to the chiro.... I went 2x last week and it helped my dorsum soooo much!!

The way that 2 chiropractors have explained it is like this: Besides much or extended employ of heat on an surface area will promote inflammation, thereby exacerbating the problem. Yes it feels expert but is a poor pick for long term. Cold therapy tin can't injure and likewise feels good. So long every bit yous don't go overboard and give yourself frostbite with constant ice pack use!As one of those granola-type people, I personally would think twice about absorption through skin and into claret for infant with the topical stuff. I really don't know though.

My doc suggests alternating cold and heat. Cold for swelling and heat to relax the musculus. Bio freeze is amazing for when y'all're sleeping or on the become (therma intendance things don't stick too well).
Merely 1 caution here do non use Biofreeze and then oestrus or cold it amplifies the event and can burn you or injure your skin. It needs to be fully done off and I would wait 24 hours before hot or cold after using Biofreeze. I am a concrete therapist banana in a nursing abode, so no experience with pregnant ladies.
